Painting #52 - "officially" this is the last of my Painting a Day series. There is something about a turtle as it glides through the water that reminds me of a bird flying through the air. There seems something mysterious about both - maybe because they both live in a realm that we can visit but not dwell in. In this painting, I've used the "aerial view" that I use with many of my bird paintings, but in this case, it is a view looking up through the water, instead of down at the land.
