| Painting #15 of my Painting a Day project. The bison is back! I haven't painted a bison yet in this series - last night it was a duel between Elk and Bison...Bison won! I wasn't sure how I was going to handle the background on this one, but had the idea that I wanted a "halo" around her head, signifying the sacredness of the bison and her importance in our survival as human inhabitants of this planet. This piece will be framed and entered into the Western Spirit miniature Art Show. |
